Expansion of Lamps and Lighting Design Capabilities

Lamps & Lighting has strengthened its technical design team with the appointment of Jennifer Millington. She will work alongside Natalie Hindle and Chris Wright, who are in close collaboration with architects, interior designers and consultants across a myriad of different sectors and applications. The design team is an invaluable source of data, incisive information and expertise on key industry critical and legal issues.

Lighting design is considered to be a hugely important element of a building as it affects its overall mood and function. Lighting can give the illusion of space, comfort, glamour, drama, romance or even fun to any space if applied correctly. It can be a source of emphasis or distraction. Lamps & Lighting’s design department considers all aspects of the customer product relationship producing 3D layout drawings based on Lux level calculations that maximise operational efficiency, manage compliance, reduce costs and seamlessly fit into the style of the environment.

The company is delighted to welcome Jennifer as she is very highly regarded with a wealth of technical knowledge and creative design flair.  She has a BSc Honours in Product Design and Innovation with design engineering experience within the manufacturing industry.  Jennifer’s appointment is a testament to the company’s commitment to offering customers a completely flexible, bespoke design service with full technical back up.
