Energy saving PIR occupancy detector dimmer switch enables automatic control of luminaires, as well as dimming to the desired LUX level. Can be either recessed flush or surface ceiling mounted. Allows luminaires to be automatically switched on when an area is occupied, then after the occupant has left luminaires will automatically switch off after a preset time. Plus for luminaires fitted with DSI or DALI digital dimming ballasts the detector measures the overall light level in the detection area and calculates the correct output to achieve the preset LUX level. Twin channel, so dimming can be carried out on one and switching on the other, ideal for dimming an outside row of luminaires whilst internal fittings are switched for example. Suitable for offices, schools, student accommodation, hotels, hospitals, toilets etc.
