Ceiling PIR Occupancy Switch

Energy saving PIR occupancy detector switch enables automatic control of luminaires. Can be either recessed flush or surface ceiling mounted. Allows luminaires to be automatically switched on when an area is occupied, then after the occupant has left luminaires will automatically switch off after a preset time. Complete with adjustable LUX level control ensuring the luminaire remains switched off providing there is sufficient natural light. Ideal for offices, schools, student accommodation, hotels, hospitals, toilets etc.

Features:
• 10 sec. to 30 min. adjustable time period, ensures luminaires stay

switched on when occupant is momentarily still

• Adjustable LUX level, ensures luminaires stay switched off if there is

sufficient natural light

• Two or more switches can be wired in parallel for switching from more

than one position

• Load

• 10A resistive load
• 8A incandescent lighting
• 6A linear fluorescent lighting (max 6 high frequency luminaires

recommended)

• 3A compact fluorescent lighting (high frequency recommended)
• 3A low voltage lighting (switch primary of transformer)
• HID lighting via a contactor
• 3A fan & ventilation equipment

• Terminal capacity 2.5mm2
• Operating temperature -10°C to 35°C
• Flush mounting, complete with mounting clip which can be adjusted to

suit different depths of ceiling tile

Options:
• 3m pre-wired lead, enables simple wiring installation
• Infrared override facility, for remote on/off luminaire switching, to be used

in conjunction with remote handset

• Surface mounting box, which mounts onto a BESA box or directly onto

the ceiling surface. Knockouts provided for mini trunking access.

• Other finishes available on request
